"At the end of May, I placed my Montclair home on the market with the help of Sam and Kati Mangrio of Avery Hess Realty. Then, we began the search for a new home for me. Kati very patiently took me to see potential homes, and then shared there was a very rare opportunity to purchase a villa home in the Active Adult Community of River Ridge in the Lake Ridge area of Woodbridge. Those homes do not come on the market very frequently!

My Montclair home received multiple contracts, and, after accepting the best one, the buyers’ backed out and we had to start all over again. Sam kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. We had a new contract very quickly and again, Sam was doing all of his due diligence and keeping me apprised at every step.

Additionally, we put a contract on the villa in River Ridge, and, true to form, Sam and Kati were making all the necessary calls and contacts to get the inspection and following through with the challenges which had to be corrected.

It felt like they were holding my hand throughout the whole progression, which can be stressful. This was not my first home purchase, but it was the first on my own, and there were times it felt sad. My husband passed away in February. Sam and Kati were a great support

Sam and my lender, John Sawall, were with me at closing, which was also bittersweet, and comforting to have them with me.
